Astronomers have taken the highest resolution photo of a space object in history – thanks to a new, innovative deep-sky camera. By eliminating the blurring effect of Earth’s atmosphere, the new gizmo can be attached to the largest telescope on Earth and produce images of deep space objects that betters the famed Hubble Space Telescope.
One of the newly released photos (seen above) shows the iconic Orion Nebula – one of the most photographed objects in the night sky and favourite targets for backyard telescopes.
