Advanced Stargazing provides information on various objects and events in the night sky for those who have already become familiar with various celestial sights and want toexplore the hobby more deeply. Course begins with a guide to naked eye astronomical phenomena like auroras, meteor showers and artificial satellites. For binocular and telescope users who want to move beyond elementary stargazing to more challenging projects, learn to locate beautiful comets, dazzling double stars and mysterious variable stars. Discover how to hunt down deep sky objects like star clusters, nebulas and galaxies. Ultimately, examine the basic techniques in getting started in photographing the night sky.

This multiple evening beginner's course is designed to highlight upcoming
